Balthazar The Loft is a luxury, second floor, penthouse apartment that we are very proud and excited to offer for holiday rental, whether it be for a week, month or season. Recently refurbished, so no longer do you have to put up with old fashioned interiors in a ski resort! Comfort, cosiness and modern elegance is the motto of our 110m² apartment in a really unbeatable location in the very centre of Villars sur Ollon. Balthazar The Loft is our private apartment and therefore tastefully decorated and furnished with a lot of love and with everything your heart desires – a real home from home. A welcome gift is ready for you on arrival to kick start your holiday with some bubbly and juicy beverages, tea, coffee, milk and some sweet treats. The apartment comprises 3 large bedrooms sleeping up to six people in great comfort. The master bedroom is wonderfully spacious yet warmly decorated, with its super king-sized bed, plenty of storage, ensuite bathroom with luxury Italian shower, washbasin and toilet and large mezzanine creating an inviting, social space where children can chill out. The second bedroom has a king-sized bed, a large wardrobe for storage, ensuite bathroom and French windows leading onto a south facing balcony with spectacular views of the Dents du Midi across the valley, also with a great mezzanine space. Then the third bedroom is a lovely light twin room with two single beds, a good-sized wardrobe, flat screen TV and south and west facing windows, again with fabulous views. This latter bedroom uses the family bathroom with the bath, washbasin and toilet facilities. All bedrooms are equipped with super comfortable, pocket-sprung beds with gorgeous goose down bedding and Egyptian cotton linen for a perfect night’s sleep. Fluffy bath towels are provided as well as luxury complimentary toiletries. A modern-equipped, open plan oak kitchen with granite tops, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher tempt you to culinary highlights. There is also a washing machine at your disposal. This leads onto the main focal point of the apartment being the dining and living area. Cosy evenings besides the flickering open log fireplace and a delicious fondue or raclette complete your day on in the mountains. There are French windows leading onto south and east-facing balconies from this area of the apartment, a 50” flat screen television with 240 channels, the Sonos system allowing you to listen to your own music and a dining table that can seat up to 8. Complimentary high-speed Wi Fi is available for all guests, as well as a great selection of brilliant board games so you can settle down together for a night of family fun! The ski room on entering the chalet is extremely useful, allowing one to quickly load and off-load equipment. There is also a private undercover parking space for Balthazar The Loft which is so useful given its unbeatable central village location. Balthazar The Loft is furnished, dressed and equipped to a high standard, with great attention to all the details to ensure that your holiday is as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Wir durften in dieser wunderschönen und mit viel Liebe eingerichtete Wohnung, ein paar erholsame und ruhige Tage geniessen ! Fiona und Olivier haben da ein absolut besonderes warmes Paradies errichtet. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sogar Duschcreme, Shampoo und Conditioner !! Frottierwäsche braucht man ebenso nicht mitzunehmen und sogar eine Waschmaschine steht zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und verfügt über einen hohen Standard. Fiona und Olivier waren stets für uns erreichbar. Wir wurden sogar mit einem süssen herzlichen Willkommens Geschenk überrascht. Das ist absolut nicht selbstverständlich. Wir können das Balthazar The Loft sehr empfehlen !! Wer weiss, das letzte Mal war es sicherlich nicht.

Olivier and Fiona's apartment in the middle of Villars is decorated with much love and made up to the smallest detail. You don't have to think about anything - everything is already taken care of. The ambiance is warm and you can feel the spirit of the owners everywhere. A warm welcome waits for you when you open the door and the only thing you need to do is put some wood in the chimney and enjoy! We had great days in Villars - Olivier and Fiona were always reachable for social recommendations and ideas where to go to. An unknown little town in the mountains became with this so much familiar and it's surely not the last time we will put our feet there. Thank you so much for a great place, super hosts and a warm welcome. We can only recommend to book Balthazar the Loft!!!!

Balthazar The Loft is very charming! It is perfectly appointed, very comfortable and really idyllic. Owners very responsive. Lots of small amenities that make it feel much more like home. (I'm accustomed to bringing some of my own kitchen equipment as many airbnbs are a bit skimpy…not this one! They had everything we needed and then some!). It is set in the heart of the village, so if that if what you are seeking, this is IT!

Great place, fantastic hosts, unbeatable location. We loved our two week stay at Balthazar Loft (3 adults and 5 kids). Many games for kids, the mezzanines were super fun for them and great balcony all around for adult apéro. Olivier and Fiona were very responsive and very caring, responding to our every query swiftly and positively. They did everything to make our stay comfortable and definitely participated in making it memorable. Chalet has private parking which is very convenient and is a walking distance from everything. The only tricky point for us was the lack of elevator (we have twin babies) but at least all the workouts helped burn off the goodies left for us in our welcome package. All around great experience, highly recommended. Thanks!
